Listening
Why you have come, your medical history, your habits and your work or sporting context are all taken into account.
I am Hicham Boulaamani. I qualified in 2005 after six years of full-time osteopathy training in France, and I help my patients regain mobility, comfort and well-being.

Having worked in France, Canada and then Morocco, I have built a practice that adapts to the person first. No single technique suits everyone.
A session begins by listening to why you have come, your medical history and your circumstances. The aim is to identify restricted movement or tension that may be contributing to your discomfort, then to use hands-on techniques suited to your situation.
Osteopathy does not replace medicine. When you need a medical opinion or another health professional, referring you is part of the care.
Read about my backgroundYou might consider a session for pain, discomfort, stiffness or restricted movement, and also for prevention or to support your sporting activity.
Lower back pain, a locked back, stiffness on waking or after sitting for a long time.
Pain running into the buttock and leg, often linked to an irritated nerve root.
A stiff or locked neck on waking, tension from screens and desk work.
Tension-type and neck-related headaches, alongside medical care for migraine.
A baby who turns their head to one side only, a flat spot on the head, discomfort, in liaison with the paediatrician.
Back and pelvic pain during pregnancy, with adapted techniques and positions.
Tension, stiffness and recovery, for recreational and competitive athletes.
Important: osteopathy does not “cure” every situation listed. Each case is assessed to decide whether osteopathic care is appropriate or whether medical advice is needed.
Sport plays a major part in my career. I have worked with judokas of the Moroccan national team, the riders of Team Cofidis during the 2011 Tour de France, athletes at the Université de Moncton and the ice hockey players of the Moncton Wildcats.
I have also treated athletes from football, athletics and basketball clubs, within multidisciplinary teams alongside doctors and physiotherapists.

Care can address tension and discomfort linked to sport, recovery, mobility and an athlete’s preparation.
